The market did go up, but it wasn't up all day, nor did it have a triple digit gain.

On the upside, the DNC week market did post a 1% gain for the week. Not bad since Krispy Kreme pulled an ENRON. This corporate capitalistic economy is not a free market.

A true free-market would lower the barriers to entry for small organizations. And if the invisible hand were allowed to have more power than the global titans, wealth would be redistributed in more equitable fashion. Not just nationally, but globally. But our military still initiates wars for economic benefit.

We are subsidizing the plundering of Iraq and our national coffers, so that Dick will keep his pension, and go back to work for the biggest thieves in Iraq - Halliburton. I'm sure he'll end up on the board at GE, also.
