My November Predictions

I still say Kerry will win by a considerable margin. It will be an early night for Bush, like it should have been last time.

The Congress will convene and pass so many lame-duck bills for Bush to sign, it will make our heads spin. All of it will be unrelated to anything remotely close to a law to make us safer from terrorist attack.

The New England Patriots will head into the NFL Playoffs with an 11 and 5 record.

Ken Lay will plead guilty, in time for King George to pardon him in January.

Dick Cheney will make arrangements to take over Halliburton when he leaves office.

November 1, Tom Ridge will raise the rainbow gauge to orange in a last ditch effort to win votes for the GOP.

Democrats will retake the Senate and come close to taking the House.

Jim Francesconi will become Mayor of Portland.

The fagbasher amendment will fail in Oregon.
