He's not even from Illinois! What kind of game is the GOP playing here? Sure, we will react to the specter of trying to poach an election with an out-of-state old dog. But that's the point: Keyes is an old dog and he can't win elections.

Next they're going to trot out Colin as the next great senator from (what state was that, Indiana?) Illinois. Not that Keyes is the bottom of the barrel, I have a lot of respect for him as an individual (but not as a politician), but not as the twisted GOP poster boy for defeating the newest star on the national political stage.

Reanimate Reagan, I say. That's what it'll take to top the Democratic show.
