68% Homeownership?

Bush claims that 68% of us own our homes. Well, I'm not one of them. I must know the other 32%, because very fewer people I know own their homes.

I do not know where this number came from. Perhaps it was the same place that the report that terrorist attacks have been down and that Saddam was a danger to us.

I submit that this number is not representative of owner-occupied primary residences. That's the number I want to hear. Bush probably doesn't want us to know that its probably lower that it ever has been before.
