Panel Describes Long Weakening of Hussein Army

More 20/20 vision, for me. However, it is not hindsight, it was foresight.
Millions of us knew from the beginning that Hussein posed as much threat as a caged monkey to the United States. We had cut him off for a decade from the rest of the world. His army was little more than a small sweat for our military back in 1991. What did we think? Suddenly he had the strongest military in the world and was just waiting to pounce on the US? His invasion could possibly stand a chance of toppling our strong Republic?
BAH! Hogwash. And shame on you if you thought so. Think for yourself every once in a while.
Where have our critical reasoning skills gone? Perhaps we just dropped them off at the curb to be picked up like so mush rubbish when Ronald Reagan got elected back in 1980. Since then, it has been dangerous to think independently. Two things come from such audacity: misery and jail.
I hope you are miserable. And not in jail.
